Happy Birthday Mr. Alligator!

Well, another idea by Andrew...last week he announced that his alligator was turning 6 years old on Sunday and we needed to have a surprise party for him. He continued to talk about it so we played along. I made a cake, bought a small present for Mr. Alligator (Andrew insisted!), he made a card and we even invited a few neighbors over at the last minute. It was a fun impromptu party - the kids colored an alligator, played 'hot alligator" (like hot potato), ate cake and opened presents (everyone ended up bringing a gag alligator gift). Dad even managed to find an alligator screen saver and put some Cajun music on.

Fun times for all --- especially for Mr. Alligator and of course Andrew!
